This is a follow up on yesterdays post where I am experimenting with using natural light for taking pictures.
These were taken at the restaurant. The sun was just about to set and the light that was streaming between the gaps in the window blinds inspired me to do some portraitures.
My wife, Liza and our friend, Vangie, gamely posed for me. I am glad they did because the pictures that I took looked great! Thanks for being so accommodating, gals!
Other than some minor retouching to remove some blemishes, there was almost no post processing done in these photos.
I wished I know how to do portrait retouching in Photoshop, though. I know I could have given these two pictures more punch with the right Photoshop technique, but I have not found a definitive tutorial on how to do that yet. For now I am sticking with Aperture for all my post processing.
Might as well add my attempt at self-portraiture:
Have a nice day!
