Some updates, just a bit before May passes by.
My wife Liza is learning how to drive. To make it easier for her, we leased a Honda Civic. Our other car, a Dodge Grand Caravan, was too big for her to practice on. She now drives to work and back, with me riding shotgun. I still have to be there because she is still on a learner’s permit. We plan to go at it for five more months before she finally takes a driving test and get her own driver’s license.
I’ve put up the van for sale. It does not make sense at the moment to have two vehicles in our family of two. Once Liza gets her driver’s license and finally drive on her own, I will probably get myself a Honda Fit. It’s not as big as our van, but it will still be practical due to it’s collapsible seats. Just in case we need to haul stuff around. The decision to get Hondas is being spurred by the rising cost of fuel.
I am now working on two productions simultaneously so my weekends will soon be non-existent. I was still able to enjoy my free weekends a few weeks ago when Liza and I, along with my brother-in-law Leo and his wife Serene, took a long drive to Drumheller, the bad lands. I took some pictures of the dinosaur exhibit and will try to post them as soon as I finish post-processing them.
Whew, it’s surprising I am still able to get something posted with all the work ahead of me. I am enjoying my work so much that it is so hard to come up with good content. But I will not let this blog gather cobwebs.
Until next time, have a great weekend everyone!
