There are pros and cons working as an independent contractor for an animation studio. Having a non-existent weekend is one negative aspect of it that I sometimes like to rant about. Oh, how I wish this was true: I would be so tired that I would go directly to bed and my scenes would animate by themselves overnight. By the time I wake up the next day, they are there, done and animated properly, ready for me to submit for approval. Sigh.

“…those were the days my friend we thought would never end… we LIVE THE LIFE WE CHOOSE we fight and never lose…those were the days oh yes those were the days…” love your work anak and don’t panic panic panic…”
Just enjoy the job that you chose because you love to draw and when the body says STOP! relax and take a break — then follow follow follow —rai rai rai rai rai rai — and get a good night’s sleep or play a tiring but energizing game of WIIIIIIII!!!!!!! — with wife. O di ba?
I oftentimes think desperately about inventing an ink that would fall into place when I spill it on the paper, creating a drawing while I sleep. ha!ha!
Harry Potter may be fictional, but man, I could use one of those spells!
